The Farnborough Airshow is a major trade exhibition for the aerospace and defense industries. This is a biennial airshow which takes place on even-numbered years and alternates with the Paris Airshow which takes place on odd-numbered years. 

Farnborough is the oldest active airfield in the UK and has been associated with aircraft and airships since 1908.
