Skybolt welcomes to our staff Paul C. Honour - associate engineer and FAA Designated Engineering Representative. Paul’s duties with Skybolt are to evaluate and process all fastener design programs that interact with the FAA and our growing list of aerospace and defense customers. Since obtaining his Civil Engineering degree from UCF in 1976, Paul’s journey has taken him from nuclear engineering posts to the position of Senior Stress Engineer and Technical Specialist for a large aerospace firm. Paul leads a team of engineers in his enterprise, Ancient City DER Services, to provide expertise and seminars covering many facets of structural and fatigue analysis for various aerospace companies. As part of the Skybolt team, Paul, along with his associates, will provide ongoing evaluation of Skybolt projects and allow our staff ready solutions to interesting engineering challenges as they arise in day to day innovations. As we journey into panel fastener designs and loads never imagined, Paul will play an important roll in how we produce the lightest, but strongest fasteners in the industry.
